Welcome to SNMA Region VI

I would like to extend a warm welcome on behalf of Region VI, the Dynasty! Region VI, Inc. is comprised of SNMA and MAPS chapters that span Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia. Although we are small in area, we are gargantuan in our leadership ability, clinical excellence and commitment to service.

The executive board of Region VI has focused on VI goals that we would like to fulfill during the upcoming scholastic year:

1.) Establishment, sustainment and continued support for our undergraduate MAPS chapters

2.) Improved communication amongst all chapters, particularly those within our region

3.) Involvement in and improvement of community service initiatives across the region

4.) Interpretation of the current political atmosphere with the express intent of advocacy for minority patients and providers

5.) Encouragement of student research within our region

6.) Academic support for all medical and premedical students
