Septmber 8-9th, 2007 - Region VI Leadership Institute (RLI)
Hosted by Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. This year marks our 2nd annual leadership institute. The RLI focuses on leadership training and the development of chapter infrastructure.
September 28-30th, 2007 - BOD Meeting and National Leadership Institute
Hosted by Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Region VI, Inc.
December 1-2nd, 2007 - SNMA Region VI Conference: A.I.D.S.
Hosted by Howard University College of Medicine. This conference will focus on disparities in HIV/AIDS as well as other health disparities in minority communities.

Nov 7th, 2007 Chapter Highlight: Johns Hopkins
Johns Hopkins showed all SNMA regions how "The Dynasty" runs things by hosting the National Leadership Institute (NLI) and Board of Director's Meeting on Sept 28-30, 2007 for approximately 150 SNMA officers and members.

Norfolk State University pre-med Charmaine Hubbard hopes to raise funds for educating the community on Sickle Cell Anemia by gathering participation the Sept 15th Walk for Sickle Cell. Read more
Sept 15, 2007 Chapter Highlight: UVA
The UVA SNMA chapter held their First Annual Pancake Breakfast Charity Fundraiser on August 11th and raised over $600 to donate to the National Marrow Donor Program, while raffling gift certificates, a MP3 player, and a Playstation 3. Read more
