Student National Medical Association David E. Satcher, M.D. Research Fellowship Program

The SNMA Satcher fellowship aims to provide medical student members of the SNMA opportunities to explore racial and ethnic health disparities in a research environment.

The SNMA David E. Satcher, M.D. Research Fellowship awards five $5000 fellowship prizes for research focusing on obesity prevention and obesity intervention.

The 2007-2008 recipients of the Satcher Fellowship are Robert Drummond, Teresa Edwards, Marleny Franco, Ruth Morgan and Onyi Offor.
