The National Leadership Institute runs concurrently with our January National Board of Directors Meeting.

The National Leadership Institute aims to:

• Increase the professional and interpersonal skills of SNMA officers.
• Produce SNMA leaders capable of representing the priorities of the national organization.
• Create a cadre of well-qualified and well-informed SNMA representatives who will become the leaders of tomorrow's medical profession on clinical, academic, and political levels, whose focus shall be on the elimination of racial and ethnic health disparities and the increasing need for diverse perspectives within the global medical world.
