SNMA Who We Are

The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) is the oldest and largest student-run organization focused on the needs and concerns of medical students of color. Membership includes more than 6,000 medical students, pre-medical students, residents and physicians. Established in 1964 by medical students from Howard University and Meharry medical schools, the SNMA boasts over 40 years of advocacy and service to underserved communities and medical students.

Announcements

SNMA's Academic Committee wants to know the needs of SNMA members. Particularly, in the following areas: selecting test preparation companies, how students prepared for boards and MCAT, and assess how SNMA can improve in helping in this process. Please complete this survey to assist the organization in meeting the needs of the pre-medical and medical students.

The deadline is almost here! Apply for SNMA membership scholarship, the SNMA chapter community service PRIDE award, and SNMA Chapter of the Year award. Due March 8, 2014.
